It also provides the students with an up close and personal look at some of the biggest names in the arts today.
This year’s Governor’s Awards Student Event will feature jazz musician Bob James and artistic director, lyrist and composer Jack O’Brien. James will share his experience as a jazz musician, while O’Brien will treat students to an inside look at the world of theatre. Both artists will provide the students with a first-hand understanding of their challenges, careers and lessons learned.
